Activating payment methods

Once your terminal or the Tap app is activated, you're ready to accept payments. Your Mollie terminal or app supports major card brands and digital wallets out of the box, including:

• Credit, debit, and commercial cards from Visa and Mastercard.
• Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Depending on the device you chose, customers can pay by tapping or by inserting their card in the terminal.

Enabling payment methods

In order to enable payment methods for your terminals, follow those steps:

1. Click your organization logo in the top left of your screen
2. Go to Settings > Products > In-person payments
3. Enable the payment methods of your choice

Activating additional payment methods

If you're based in Belgium, you can accept meal, eco, sport & culture, and gift vouchers from Edenred, Monizze, and Pluxee.

Activating vouchers is a two-step process: first in your Mollie Dashboard, then directly with the voucher brand.

Step 1: Enable vouchers in Mollie

1. Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.
2. Go to Settings > In-Person Payments.
3. Open the Vouchers section.
4. Select the voucher provider or providers you want to activate.
5. Click Activate.
6. Copy the credentials shown in the pop-up.
7. Click Activate again to complete the activation request in Mollie.
