Troubleshoot common issues
Follow the steps in Troubleshoot common issuesarticle to ensure proper connection between Mollie and your Gambio instance and then the steps below to troubleshoot specific settings.
Troubleshooting checklist
Check webhook notifications
To trigger payment and order status updates, Mollie sends webhook notifications to the Mollie for Gambio module. These notifications are saved in Gambio so that you can check whether any webhooks failed.
To view the notifications, follow these steps:
- Log in to Gambio.
- Go to Modules > Modules-Center.
- Select Mollie from the module list.
- Select Edit.
- Scroll down to Notifications.
If a webhook notification states that a webhook was unsuccessful, check whether payments are processing properly.
Get the log files
Both Gambio and Mollie keep a log of all Mollie-related activity. Use the logs to investigate the root cause of a problem.
To access the mollie
log file:
- Open your FTP client and log in to your Gambio web server.
- Go to
[path_to_gambio_installation]/logfiles
.
To access admin
and php-error-handler
log files:
- Log in to Gambio.
- Go to Toolkit > Show logs.
Check the release notes
Refer to Mollie for Gambio releases to check whether the issue was fixed in a newer release.
Important
Before updating, review Mollie for Gambio releases to ensure compatibility with your version of Gambio or third-party modules.
Reactivate the module
In some cases, it helps to deactivate and reactivate the module. This resets the module without losing your configuration settings:
- Log in to Gambio.
- Go to Modules > Modules-Center.
- Select Mollie from the module list.
- Select Uninstall.
- Mollie for Gambio is not completely uninstalled. All your configuration settings still exist.
- Reinstall Mollie.
Reinstall the module
In some cases, the best option is to uninstall and reinstall the module.
Note
This procedure completely reinstalls Mollie for Gambio. If you reinstall Mollie for Gambio using this procedure, you will need to reconfigure it afterwards.
- Log in to Gambio.
- Go to Modules > Modules-Center.
- Select Mollie from the module list.
- Select Uninstall.
Mollie for Gambio is not completely uninstalled. All your configuration settings still exist. - Using an FTP client, remove the Mollie folder from the
GXModules
folder on your web server.
Mollie for Gambio is now completely uninstalled. - Reinstall the module.
