To further improve the stability of our platform, we are introducing API Rate Limits and a new section in your Mollie Web App that provides visibility into it.
Rate Limits help ensure that unexpected traffic spikes or any incorrect API usage by one user does not impact the API performance for others. By managing platform capacity fairly, we can maintain consistent, reliable checkout performance for everyone.
Do you need to take any action?
- Most customers: no action is needed.
- Developers: ensure your integration includes standard retry logic.
- Upcoming high-traffic events: request a capacity increase.
