# Card Component

## `checkout.create('card-component')`

Creates a Cards Component.

```javascript
const cardComponent = checkout.create('card-component');
express.mount('#card-component');
```

### Parameters

#### `type` **'card'** required

The type of component to create.

### Methods

#### `.mount(target: string | HTMLElement): Promise<this>`

Renders the component into a CSS selector or HTML element. Resolves when the component is ready.

#### `.unmount(): Promise<this>`

Tears down and cleans up the component.
