# Added Payouts API

The Payouts API allows you to request payouts from your balances to bank accounts, list and retrieve payouts, and cancel pending payouts. The `GET /payouts` endpoint accepts a `balanceId` filter to narrow results to a specific balance. Five webhook events (`payout.initiated`, `payout.processing-at-bank`, `payout.completed`, `payout.canceled`, `payout.failed`) are available via the Webhook Subscriptions API. Creating a payout via the API automatically sets the balance's `transferFrequency` to `never`, pausing any previously configured automatic settlement schedule.
